1-6-2025 – Meta recently disclosed the results of its annual shareholder meeting in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Among the various proposals put to a vote, one that sparked particular interest was the suggestion to integrate Bitcoin into Meta’s treasury reserves. The idea, however, met with overwhelming resistance, as shareholders decisively rejected it. A resounding 498 million votes opposed the inclusion of the cryptocurrency, dwarfing the mere 3.91 million votes cast in its favour.
