7-5-2025 – Chainlink’s latest venture into community rewards has set the blockchain sphere abuzz. The pioneering oracle network has unveiled an innovative staking initiative, dubbed Chainlink Rewards, marking a significant milestone in decentralised collaboration.
At the heart of this scheme lies a strategic partnership with Space and Time, a distinguished member of the Chainlink Build programme, which has earmarked a substantial 200 million SXT tokens—representing 4% of their total token supply—for distribution amongst qualified LINK stakers.
The programme’s inaugural phase, christened Season Genesis, is poised to commence on 8 May 2025, with an initial release of 100 million SXT tokens. This pilot phase, spanning 90 days, will serve as a litmus test for the broader rewards ecosystem.
Particularly noteworthy is the programme’s meticulous approach to token distribution, with eligibility hinging on participants’ LINK staking history.
