19-7-2025 – Pandu Asset Management, a licensed Hong Kong virtual asset firm, plans to introduce a staked Ethereum ETF later this year, building on the success of its Bitcoin ETF, first reported by Bitcoin Ethereum News. The ETF will offer investors additional yield through Ethereum staking, providing returns beyond standard price exposure by participating in network validation.
CEO Ren Junfei confirmed that Pandu is collaborating with Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) to ensure compliance, focusing on investor safeguards and operational details like subscription and redemption mechanisms. Hong Kong’s progressive crypto regulations have already enabled spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs in 2024, distinguishing the region from markets like the U.S., where staked ETFs face stricter oversight.
