Among the standout additions is TokenEscrow, a robust mechanism designed to safeguard token custody, alongside Batch, which streamlines transactions through grouped processing. The update also introduces PermissionedDEX, a regulated decentralised exchange poised to elevate trading capabilities within the ecosystem.
Further bolstering the ledger’s infrastructure, the latest release refines transaction relay logic, expands network input-output capacity, and sharpens the precision of multi-signature simulations. Complementing these upgrades is the debut of XRPL Commons, a newly established Bootstrap cluster aimed at strengthening the network’s foundation.
The implementation of these protocol modifications hinges on a critical threshold of support, requiring endorsement from more than 80% of trusted validators over a two-week period.
