The Nasdaq-listed firm, trading under the ticker SBET, continues its aggressive digital asset strategy despite facing current market headwinds. Documents reveal SharpLink has accumulated a substantial reserve of 194,000 ETH tokens through a series of strategic purchases.
This latest acquisition forms part of a broader investment approach that has seen the company commit $507 million toward Ethereum holdings. The average procurement cost stands at approximately $2,611 per token, reflecting the company’s long-term confidence in the cryptocurrency’s value proposition.
Market volatility has temporarily positioned SharpLink’s substantial Ethereum portfolio in challenging territory, with current valuations indicating an unrealised loss approaching $36 million. Nevertheless, the company appears steadfast in its cryptocurrency strategy, continuing to build its digital asset reserves despite short-term price fluctuations.
