27-7-2025 – Solana has emerged as the most active blockchain network over the past week, registering 28.18 million active addresses according to fresh Nansen analytics data first reported by BlockBeats.
The Layer-1 network significantly outpaced competitors, with BNB Chain trailing at 10.14 million active addresses and Tron capturing third place with 5.86 million. The data reveals a shifting landscape where newer networks like SEI (3.24 million) and Aptos (2.89 million) are gaining ground against established players Bitcoin (2.8 million) and Ethereum (2.5 million).
While Solana maintained its lead in absolute numbers with 1.9% weekly growth, Ethereum demonstrated the strongest expansion rate at 8.7%, signaling renewed network momentum. The growth patterns suggest different adoption trajectories across major blockchain ecosystems.
Trading volume data from DeFiLlama paints a different picture of network dominance. BNB Chain processed $3.93 billion in decentralized exchange volume over the past 24 hours, followed by Ethereum’s $2.34 billion and Solana’s $1.796 billion. Base and SUI rounded out the top five with $1.16 billion and $530 million respectively.
